Overview

The programme aims to reduce social discrimination, create social harmony and promote social cohesion. The program develop skills of local organizations, religious leaders, women, youth and media to work for social cohesion at the local level. The programme promote social harmony and social cohesion in the focused areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

The programmel contribute towards the narrative of social cohesion by bringing attitudinal change, impacting on larger interventions being carried out by CSOs on rights issues, equal citizenship, religious harmony, socio-cultural acceptance at the community level, equal rights and equal opportunities and freeing ourselves from intolerance.

The expected main outcome of the project is:

A safe space for dialogue and mutual confidence-building measures between different faiths has been created and strengthened.
